Yup.....do you talk or you just admiring her for afar?

I do that with Jason Statham but me dropping 30lbs ain't going to bag him. Mores the pity.

Slim down for your own health/sake. Don't ever change yourself for someone else.

    So... is this for selfesteem?

Us women so much more forgiving than men when it comes to weight.......have faith in that.

Good luck with your body change. Why can't you approach her now though?

If she would want you only after you lost weight, she's not worthy of you. Someone should love you and want to be with you for who you are, not what you look like!

No I get why he's doing this. When you get to where you want to be don't let the confidence become arrogance. Also ask yourself this question, "What kind of man is the woman of my dreams looking for?" Become this man along the way in your fitness journey...and you'll find her brother.

But he probably shouldn't tell her he's "slimming" - she might find that odd. :pensive:

Bah...I slimmed down by 35 lbs. Is it odd? ;)

How do you know she doesn't find you attractive the way you are ?

As ex Vikings coach Mike Tice once said "All men get more confident when they get stronger". Don't be surprised if others magically appear in your life.
  • I understand you, my friend.
We all like to pretend appearance isn't a huge part of attraction...but we know it is.

If that's your motivation, more power to you!
    Good luck.

    Exactly.

Take care of your mind, body, and others. Be strong, be fit, be compassionate, confident, thoughtful and decisive. Be a builder. Build your character, build others up, build good relationships.
