Hi everyone, I'm 57 years old and no stranger to dieting. My sw is 175lbs and I would like to lose 25lbs as a starting goal. Over the years I've tried all kinds of diets but this time I'm determined to eat healthier and do walking as part of my daily routines.

Hope you find the app helpful! Also not a newbie to the weight loss idea, this is my second time with MFP in several years. Did great the first time, maintained for a while then stopped logging and keeping up good habits and here I am again, 60 days in for round 2..... Losing weight in your 50's is getting harder, I know. But I'm sure you'll find plenty of ideas motivation and support here ! Good luck!0

Thanks for the encouraging words,although I'm no stranger to dieting this is my first time with MFP almost 2 weeks in, I'm just getting on to the app now, and I like the food and exercise logs. I wish you the best ,it's hard but if we keep at it ,the weight will come off.0
