Binge eating.

Hi, I finally decided to stop lying to everyone including myself. I am a binge eater. I constantly think about food. I eat and eat and eat. I have been off work since November for a surgery and realised that all I do is think about food and binge eat. I have come clean to my psychologist and he told me that it is a disorder and prescribed Topomax. He said it should calm down my constant thinking of food. I feel so relieved knowing that I am not the only one addicted to food. Now that I have stopped lying about it, I can begin working on it.

Good for you! Food addiction, binge eating, disordered eating -- whatever you want to call it is tough. I am having great success with a good nutrition program, lots of support and an accountability partner. Please feel free to add me.0

yes, I recently have come clean about this too and stopped lying to myself about binge eating. I could spend a whole day on the couch eating, I was doing it for too long and recently had hit rock bottom.
