I just had a GREAT dinner with ground turkey. Spaghetti!!!
If you like spaghetti, its real easy-- I just browned it, added mushrooms and my favorite sauce and voila! I served mine over whole wheat noodles. Also, if you are wanting to cut calories even more, substitute the sauce for a can of stewed tomatoes. It is so yummy!!

OMG ground turkey is all I use now. I sub, it for everything. tacos, meatloaf, burgers, stuffed peppers, I can go on and on. It works, I have lost 60 lbs so I have done something right!!!!0

I use it for meatballs for spaghetti, stuffed peppers, turkey burgers, chili, enchiladas, etc. You can go to someplace like Marthastewart.com or cookinglight.com and many other sites and find a ton of recipes.0

Ground turkey, Cabbage and zucchini.
brown the meat. then take meat out put a little olive oil and saute zucchini for a few minutes then add cabbage and salt and pepper to taste. cook to your liking. I do not like mushy cabbage so I only cook it a few minutes like two. the zucchini I cook a little longer. you can eat it that way or with a little soy sauce. low sodium I would recommend. My sister uses this when she is trying low carb that way she has no breads pasta or rice. it is very good.0 -
I love turkey chili........ground turkey, chili seasoning, diced tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, peppers, kidney beans.......tastes great over small babked potato, or by itself!!!0

I don't even buy ground beef anymore. Whatever you would normally use GB in, make it with Turkey. My kids love turkey burgers with garlic, ginger, and cilantro mixed in. We put them on English Muffins instead of buns.0

yum we had fat free refried beans, ground turkey and light cheddar cheese in a whole wheat tortilla, then we grilled it on the indoor flat grill. it was delicious like a homemade burrito with no real guilt. Very filling and tasty!!! Make sure to cook turkey first and heat up beans. Also I love making turkey burgers with a pack of onion soup mix, stirred in before making the patties. I try to stock up on ground turkey whenever it is on sale -what a great alternative to ground beef-0

I just started using ground turkey. I have made spagetti, chili, tacos, etc. My kids don't even notice anything different!!!! I love the alternative to beef.0

My Mom's Crock Pot Stuffed Green Peppers (also good with red and yellow)
4 green peppers - take out the seeds and veins (or ribs or whatever they are called)
1 lb ground turkey
Cheese - I like 2% mozzarella, but whatever you like
1 can low sodium tomato sauce/paste/soup - whichever you have around
1 cup cooked rice or couscous (the couscous gives a really cool texture)
Salt, pepper and any other seasoning you like
Mix last 5 ingredients, reserving some of the cheese for a topper. Stuff inside the peppers. Place in the bottom of your crock pot with a little water (about 1/2 cup) and cook on low for 8-10 hours. It's probably done before that, but that's how long I'm at work. Top with remaining cheese and allow 5-10 minutes to melt. Enjoy!

Ground Turkey
Parm Cheese (I do about a cup cup and a 1/2)
Pasta- Any kind will work, but something small like shells or even penne will work (that's what I use)
peas (probably could do broccolli as well
crushed pepper flakes (as much or little as you want-personally I like it hot)
cook the ground turkey while you are boiling/cooking the pasta
add the crushed pepper flakes/salt and pepper to the turkey
add the pasta to the meat when done
add the peas at the last minute
also add the cheese at the last minute

I love, love, love this turkey burger recipe.
I had one today and wrapped 2 pieces of turkey bacon around it, put it on my George Foreman grill... didn't need bread... yum~o!
3 pounds ground turkey
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs (you can use Panko crumbs)
1/4 cup finely diced onion
2 egg whites, lightly beaten ( I use egg substitute)
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, seasoned bread crumbs, onion, egg whites, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into 12 patties.
Cook the patties in a medium skillet over medium heat, turning once, to an internal temperature of 180 degrees F (85 degrees C).

You can also cook whole wheat pasta, get Healthy Choice pasta sauce (very low in cals and a good size serving), cook the ground turkey (season it a bit), mix some HC pasta sauce, sprinkle some parmesan cheese ontop and you're done.

Anything that you use Hamburger for you can use Ground Turkey.

I use ground turkey as a substitute for ground beef, and one thing I have discovered is, there is ground turkey and there is ground turkey BREAST. Therein lies the difference. The white meat is much easier to work with because it doesn't have the strong flavor of regular ground turkey. Unless you are using extremely strong spices, you will probably be able to taste turkey flavor. The white meat is much easier to work with.
Another thing I do is mix a combination of ground beef and turkey.
Hope the original poster can find something helpful with all the answers.
I vote for the Crockpot peppers. I am planning on trying that one myself in the near future. I will probably figure the nutritional value, and if I do, I wll make a point of posting it.
