Here we go again!!

Sooooo.... here goes! I had my son 2006 and was 260 When I gave birth! I had gained 85lbs with him and fast!! It took me two years to lose that 85 and try to maintain. I had done a good job for awhile. Well I just had my 30th birthday and I am 230lbs
. I had always said when I wasn't going to go into my 30's a big girl!! Well I did and I am. My new goal is to lose 70 lbs by the end of the year or close to it. I feel so defeated.... my mind keeps saying how did you get so big again. I have a bad body day every day now. I'm just feeling down and I'm trying to get my head in the right space!! Has anyone else had this issue too??

All you can do is go forward. Stop the negative thoughts of "look where I am now" and start thinking "this is where I want to go". And yes, there are likely a lot of us with bad body days. It happens. But you can take control and when the negative thoughts start, consciously stop them and turn it into a positive thought. Make your thoughts: I ate to my calorie goal yesterday, I exercised yesterday, I will exercise today. Whatever the positive thing is, make that your focus.

You have set your ultimate goal as 70 lbs by the end of the year. Break that down to smaller goals, as you meet each of the small goals you will have a little victory, treat yourself to to something you would like--nonfood. Then set your next little goal. Maybe break the 220 point by a certain date. Each goal you make will show you progress and you will make your ultimate goals. You will have ups and downs but stay positive and you will get there!
