trying to lose 20lbs my ideal weight is 190 I have no problem losing the weight just can't stay dedicated to keeping it off

One thing I've realized is that diets don't work! In order to change your body you have to make changes that you are willing to stick with forever. No diets, life changes are what work. You can add me if you like, I've been very dedicated for about 1.5 yrs. And from 205 to 168. Now I'm bulking and trying to hit 1850
