So I made a recipe on the app and added 4-5 ingredients, along with their amounts, ex. 5 cups this, 1 lb that, 6 oz this, 2 tablespoons that, but when I go to log the item it doesn't tell me how much a serving size should weigh, so when I make something I have split it up into 11 different containers eyeballing their equalness. Anyone else have this problem?

I have used this & after adding all my ingredients it also asked me how many servings , not what the servings should weigh or
In my case how many ounces/cups ........my receipe is soup
I am assuming that my 1 serving is = to 1 cup , yes this can create problems
Good luck, if you figure it out please repost

Here is what I got! So the next recipe I made was a crockpot pulled pork. I added in everything I wanted, spices, tomatoes, dressing / marinade, logged everything and told it the recipe made 10 servings. After cooking I weighed the total dish on a scale and then divided it by 10. So my 1541.8 kilogram dish is 154.18 grams per serving. So now I know how much to take out of the crockpot everytime I eat 1 serving.

I usually just weigh out equal servings by weight (use my food scale) and portion it all out into my food prep containers.

I measure everything that goes into my food, then put a large container on my scale, zero it out and then weigh the entire recipe together. I use those grams that as the number of servings then when I weigh out my meals in grams I have that amount of servings. Example: I make a large pot of chili, it comes out to 2,432 grams. I weigh out a portion I intend to eat at that time, 342grams. The total recipe has 2,432 servings and I'm eating 342 servings at that meal.
I find it easier to do this than make sure I have enough single serving containers to separate out an entire recipe since I like to cook all my food for the week on Sunday and not worry about cooking again later.
