My favorite dressing is just 2 tablespoons of any kind of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of olive or canola oil, and dashes of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place all ingredients in a small mason jar and shake. Sometimes I will add some blue cheese or feta cheese crumbles for a little added flavor. And you can add some chopped fresh herbs. Here are screen shots of two other dressings I like to make.

    Raspberry Vinaigrette

Olive oil, Dijon mustard, cracked black pepper and a little real maple syrup. I don't measure, just taste it and see what it needs more of. This is also a great marinade for salmon.
  • For taco salad I use yogurt mixed with salsa. I save the fat and calories for the cheese haha.

For other salads I use yogurt mixed with balsamic vinegar...same.

Yogurt and pesto (from a jar)

Another I do is honey, dijon mustard, and a bit of olive oil.

Lemon juice, honey, hot sauce is a weird one I like sometimes.

    Some people use salsas

I love Olive Garden and its like 80 cals for 2 tbsp but you really don't need much for a huge salad!

I love Marie's yogurt dressings (found near produce) and those tend to be like half the cals of typical full fat dressings

Wishbone makes a fat free Italian dressing that is only 15 cals a serving that has all the flavor still

    1 part white wine vinegar
    2 parts evoo
    Dijon mustard (to taste)
    Salt & pepper
  • Oh yeah, also I love hummus mixed with water!

Another good one is tahini mixed with lemon juice

Spicy peanut is good too...peanut butter, white wine or rice vinegar, and some kind of hot sauce
