Macros help

Can you tell me what your macros numbers are at and why how you came to those numbers.
I am trying to read on it but keep getting conflicting information.
It seems that numbers depend on your goal (lose, lose while gaining muscle, gain ) I guess losing while gaining is possible but it is easier to stick to losing and then change macros and go on to gaining muscle.. So as of now my goal is to lose weight.. but still unsure what macros percentage I should to be at. Although I have noticed that my tummy goes down when I cut down on carbs.
Can someone with knowledge on this guide me to what numbers I should aim for?
Thank you

Everyone uses different ratios. Find the one that satisfies you the most and go with it. And you can't lose weight and gain muscle at the same time in most cases.0

Macros are personal is why you are getting conflicting information.
Mine are based on my approximate LBM (Lean body mass) they are currently set to 45/25/35
My numbers are not based on if I want to lose weight or not mine are based on my nutritional goals...my calories are so I can lose weight.
Macros are for nutrition not weight loss....so it doesn't matter what you set them at....unless you are doing some form of lifting/resistance training trying to maintain muscle mass while losing mostly fat.

Protein - 120 grams (150 lbs. x .8 gram/lb.) [I weight around 150.]
Fat - 60 grams (150 lbs. .4 grams/lb.)
I aim for those two as minimums and then the rest is a split between carbs and more protein/fat. I'm not sure what my percentages are set for because I just eyeball the protein number most days to see if I am reaching it. (It would be a highly unusual day for me not to meet the fat goal.)0 -
ha ha. I know, I meet the fat goal right away.0

^I used this topic to set mine, and I know others have had luck with it as well. But I agree with everyone above that there are a ton of different ways to set your macros and still lose weight depending on your personal needs and preferences. Don't be afraid to play around and see what feels best for you.0
