anyone tried Tai Cheng DVDs? Thoughts? I need to gain flexibility and core strength while working within my weight and asthma limitations. This sounds promising but would like to hear from real people not marketing hype.

Based on your profile, I'd think it would be too easy for you. If you're looking at Beachbody stuff, you might get more benefit out of T25, and maybe double or triple-up on the stretching portion if you're really worried about range-of-motion. If you're a member of a gym, you might want to consider trying out a class called Bodyflow (lots of gyms offer it)...while not exactly Tai Cheng, it's a similar idea.

If your looking for a BB program for strength and flexibility, I've heard great things about PiYo. That's the program I'll probably do after Insanity Max 30. I was able to get a copy of PiYo from someone.

To be really good at pole, I need great flexibility, so PiYo is my next mission. I hate that it's a 12 week program, b/c I lose focus after about 10 weeks, I barely finished P90X3 (my friend gave it to me) b/c it seemed so long.

Also, look at yoga. Doing Yoga regularly will get you the flexibility and core strength that you desire, and it shouldn't be too hard on your asthma.

Check out Yoga with Adriene on Youtube. She has full length yoga vids for free.

I do DDP yoga, and any yoga will do, YouTube has a ton of free yoga and any walmart or target will have 30 minute yoga DVDs. You can get longer if you with. I love me some Yoga!

I love the Tai Cheng program, and I am completely unaffiliated with Beachbody other than purchasing this particular program...
