Dr Results are in!!!!

I got the best news in the world today well maybe not the world but still was awesome as heck, I went and talked to my doctor last week he checked my blood pressure my labs and everything while I was there. I went to the dr when I started MFP and got everything tested, my numbers when I first started were insane, my blood pressure was super HIGH my cholesterol was through the roof, I was not in a healthy weight catergory. Well all my results came back and everything is at a normal level the dr told me at my appt that I was the epitome of a healthy person. It made me feel so good and I want to thank MFP and all my friends here for what you have given me, not only happiness and fun but added years to my life and now I am healthy as I will ever be. Thank you all of you I love you.

    Very cool. Congratulations!!!

    I didn't go to the doc first, decided I'd just "do something about it". But I'm going to make an appointment and see where I'm at after 45lbs gone.

    Excellent job!!

    I was in a similar situation (High cholesterol and High BP).and was sitting in the "obese" category.

    I dropped about 50 lbs (now "overweight") and my cholesterol and BP are now perfect.

    Exercise and diet change really do work!
