Stay at home mum

Hi everyone, I'm a mother of a beautiful baby who's 9 months old and I'm looking to lose 40 pounds to get back to my "old self". I'm currently working out 3-4 a week, running, weight lifting, and even doing some workout dvd's of Jillian Michaels. This is the first time I'm actually trying to lose weight since my baby was born because I didn't feel any different. But that's the thing ,you don't really feel the weight piling on and if you do its usually when it's too late. So I'm at the in-between stage in which I can make a change now or continue down this path and become obese. The thing is, I've never been the most beautiful, the hottest, or even the brightest, but having my baby makes me want to be number in something, and that's being the best mum I can possibly be. That's why I'm doing this, for her. So I need as much positive support as possible and I hope to be encouraging too.

    Hello,
    I am a Stay at Home Mom as well. I am also looking for support on this journey. Prior to having children I never had a weight issue but,since them I do. More than the weight leaving I'd like a healthier eating lifestyle, and to become stronger. :)
