What's the best thing to eat when you just can't seem to stop?

(Trying to lose weight)

You need to address the issue of not being able to stop eating. From my own experience-successful weight loss is 80% mindset, 20% calories and math. You control food, it doesn't control you.

I snack on berries, fruit, celery, salsa, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, ghurkins, melon, seafood sticks, prawns, mussels... have grazed through bags of mixed salad amd watercress...crackers n soft cheese...

Alao drink a glass of water to distract me, sometimes stops the niggling!

    Good luck!

Raw veggies, berries, anything low calorie. Have some water or coffee.

Or you might want to try to experiment with things that could be satisfying and try to stop after just a little. For that I'd choose higher calorie things with protein and fat that you think you might find satisfying. But that's only if it's actual hunger.

The reason I'm snacking is because of tiredness yet can't sleep because of my three month old baby.

When I need a low cal snack, I'll usually go for cherry tomatoes, berries or carrots. Frozen grapes are also delicious!

If you're breast feeding, I hope you're consuming more calories than if you weren't.

Well I'm trying too. Currently consuming 1,500 but then waking 200 off on top of calories consumed when breastfeeding. It's on going as I originally started out with a 1,300 calorie intake.

maybe you could up your calorie intake?

I find it's more of a mental thing.. I always finish my lunch and immediately want more to eat.. wait a little bit and let your food actually hit your stomach properly.

tea is also a good filler i find, fills me up a bit

If I am actually hungry, I will snack on higher protein things like hard cooked eggs and cheese. If I just want to stuff my mouth, light popcorn or carrots.
