I came to this website as I was hoping to get dietary advice. I am aware of a lot of foods that have lots of calories but even breakfast cereals can have too much sugar etc and need to know if there is any apps or websites where I can look at that show me alternatives to my usual diet please

Not by default, but you can get dietary advice if you ask and/or search for it. In the grocery store, you have to use your eyes and your brain. But it's not difficult. Buy cereals without added sugar. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Buy meat and fish and potatoes and rice and cook it. Buy nuts that are just nuts etc etc.0

Switch to oatmeal without sugar for breakfast, and fruit for lunch0
