Easy Diet - Calorie deficit. Eat your normal foods, exercise moderation and log them into MFP. Follow your calorie goal.
Workout - Anything that you enjoy doing and gets you moving; go for a walk, swim, play tennis, ride a bike.. whatever tickles your fancy.0 -
But i can eat what i eat now?0

Will cut and paste this from another post:
Buy a food scale, weigh and log everything.
Do cardio if you want, and if you do, only eat back 50% of your calories. Lift weights and hit your protein goal to help maintain muscle mass while losing.
Cheat meals that take you over maintenance will sabotage your efforts. Log the cheat meals too (falls under the 'log everything' rule).
Eat anything you want in moderation, keeping in mind that your diet will be easier to stick with if you chose foods that make it easier to stay under your calories without feeling hungry.
Also it would be a good idea to read some of the stickies at the top of the various forums such as:

That depends! You can eat some of it in moderation, if you can fit it within your calories when you log accurately, and manage your hunger. Sometimes you will need to make different food choices to help fill you up but keep you under.
For example, if my calories are getting tight for the day, I will take an extremely small serving of rice with my meal, and a big helping of cauliflower. Rice is high cal, cauliflower is low cal but filling.0 -

Thank you. .. ideas for exercising at home though? Such as sit ups and such how many a day?0

Eat at a deficit and you'll lose weight. Pick any exercise, that you enjoy.0

You can check out youtube for exercise videos... 30 Day Shred is popular. Or you could look up Zumba routines (it's pretty much dancing with flare). Fitness Blender is also popular.0

I agree with lis, do an exercise you enjoy. If you like exercise videos, they have them on daily motion (zumba etc)
Calorie deficit for weight loss, exercise for fitness, health and to have more calories to eat.0 -
Eat foods that you like in portion sizes that fit your goals.
Get plenty of fats & protein for healthy and satiety.
Get plenty of fruits & veggies for the micronutrients.
Fill in the rest of your calories with carbs, sweets, and treats as you see fit.
Move more. Choose whatever exercises or activities that you enjoy. Though it's a good idea to include at least some resistance or strength training.
Personally, I think it's helpful to figure out your own meal plan. That way you can customize it to what you like best, you can eat when it works best with your schedule, and you'll be developing great habits that will help you once you reach your goals and transition to maintenance.0 -

I would like to second the "buy a food scale". Seriously the best $15 I've ever spent. You WILL NOT regret buying/using one.0
