2 frozen bananas (peeled, cut into 1 inch chunks before freezing)
1/3 dark cocoa powder
3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
1 oz roasted, no salt peanuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

In food processor, pulse the the frozen banana chunks, cocoa and vanilla until smooth. Should be like soft serve ice cream. Add in the chocolate chips and peanuts and pulse to blend. Spoon into a container to freeze. (Or eat it all as soft serve!)

Good way to use up over ripe bananas. 2 oz serving is about a 1/2 cup, but I like to weigh it out. Will be experimenting with other flavors! Good recovery snack after exercise, too!

Kinda surprised it would only be 39 calories per ounce... A banana is 25 calories per ounce already, chocolate powder is like 90, peanuts 180... Math doesn't add up.

How much does it work out at per 100g?

Yes, ninja blender would work. Just use the travel size cups for smoothies if you have one.

According to MFP if this is one serving it is 678 calories; it would take 18 servings to make this recipe 39 calories. WHAT?

Pretty much what I thought, lol. I don't see the point of all that banana ice cream stuff... you can have ice cream for the same amount of calories or less...

Yeah your math doesn't add up. There's no way you can put 12 oz of ingredients and end up with 17 oz of food! And 17 servings out of 2 bananas? Sorry but that's just very confusing.

You must be mixing up volume and weight or something.

MFP added up the ingredients as I posted above. After mixing everything together I weighed the entire mixture= 17 oz. total at 677 calories..... Per ounce mixture= 39 calories. As I said, depends on the size of your bananas. I used (2) 7 inch bananas, as per MFP data base= (2) 7 inch medium bananas. I did not weigh the bananas, I used MFP's calorie total for them. You can make your serving size whatever you like....1 oz (about a 1/4 cup, 2 oz, (about a 1/2 cup).....39-40 calories/ oz.

    It tastes great to me!
