I love love love running in cold weather. I'm talking below in the winter, freezing 5 a.m. in the morning weather. I always run my fastest times in cold weather and feel awesome afterwards. But here comes the warm weather.
Anyone else like me love running in cold weather? I also like running in the rain...gives me the feeling of being free. Any takers?

I'm the opposite. I hate running in the cold. My running pretty much grinds to a halt from mid-December to mid-March.
On the other hand, love running through a heavy downpour!0 -

Totally agree. I go indoors during cold weather... which is no fun at all0 -

I am not alone! that's exactly how i feel!! and i love the crazy looks i get from people...esp when I'm wearing just underarmour and shorts and they're in bubble jackets and snow suits!!0 -
Gimme heat!! I'd rather run in 80 degrees than 30!! I also grind to a halt from Dec til about March. Rain when it's warm isn't too bad but just terrible if it's cold!! :noway:0

All depends on how cold... I did the Resolution Run here in January... It was a tad too cold (-30 C plus windchill), but was only 5K.
I will run upto -20 Celcius and be quite comfortable and won't run when the temperature is above 25 C or above (80 F?).
I actually prefer the cold because you can dress for it. With heat, there is only so much you can take off before you're streaking....0 -
I like running in anything under 20 C. Above that I can't cope.0

I'd rather run in the heat. I'm pretty much donating money to the Y until the winter hits and it gets so cold outside that I'd actually prefer the treadmill.0

I would rather run in colder weather, but running in a light rain is my absolute favorite!0

I like the heat. As long as I've had time to acclimate. Running those first hot days of spring/summer are tough, but by august I am loving it.
I will run in the cold, but I don't prefer it.
Although a nice 50 degrees & dry is about perfect.
I hate the rain unless its a nice mist when its 85 outside.0
