Mt Dew Lover, overcoming my addiction!

I love Mt Dew, I use to drink 120 ounces of mt dew a day. I am a returning user that's been MIA for the past year now I'm returning because since my departure I have gained 50 pounds and I don't recognize myself anymore. I am now at a weight that's uncomfortable and I have to make some adjustments. At one point I stopped drinking mt dew for 47 days and lost 22 pounds, which made me look good and feel good. After losing the weight, life started getting out of control which caused me to eat, eat, eat. I stopped working out, started
feeling depressed, my job was stressful, my relationship was crazy, my son was out of control in school, my mom was driving me insane and I continue digging a deeper hole for myself. Now 1 year later, 47 pounds
later, I'm back to finally admit I am addicted to Mt Dew! I am coming out of denial and ready to get things back on track. I rather drink mt dew versus eating food. I want to lose weight not only to look good in my clothes but to be healthy. I need friends who can offer encouragement, friends that are motivated and who can offer me tips and advice. I want my life back, and plan on looking foward , changing my though process, taking it day by day, moment by moment! I'm not going out like this!

That's a lot of sugar/calories!
If you can reign that ONE PARTICULAR THING in for good, and replace it with a god habit you'd be doing great!

Free advice, worth what it costs:
1. switch to Diet Mt. Dew, which will fix half your problems right there.
2. get the rest of it together
Good luck.

I feel the same way! I knew it was something I needed to give up though, for many reasons. After many unsuccessful tries, I'm doing it again. Drank my last one last Thursday. Had a KILLER weekend of headaches, but I'm finally starting to feel better. Do I still crave it? YES! But, I just gotta keep going one day at a time and it will hopefully becomes less of a craving (right?). Let's do this, let's give it up.0
