^^^When you love someone even the hardest things are worth it and on that note that was the cheesiest proposal ever.
I plan on proposing via Pinata......way better idea then this thing!
Are you the pinata? She'll smack you with a stick and the ring falls out?
No silly. I let her beat the pinata till the ring falls out then I go divin in for the "candy" and I turn around as I am already on one knee and ask her, DUH0 -
OH MY.. I cried the whole time! Thats is so sweet and romatic..0

Major props to this guy! That was awesome!
Mine involved sneaking into a chinese restaurant's kitchen & asking the staff to give her my own custom made fortune cookie. I'll keep to myself what it said. The staff loved doing it.0 -
Saw it last night. Liked the creativity. But as someone who has been married for a long time. I get weary any time I see overly elaborate proposals or weddings. Just says to me that too much attention might be focused on the show, and not enough on the relationship.0

wow talk about amazing.0

Aww. Yeah, I cried. That was awesome.0

My version is more true to life, lol.
Now I have this comic image in my head of you diving for the candy and then turning to surprise her with a ring and it will be a jawbreaker.
But she might like a nice candy necklace. A ring pop?0 -
It's a good think she wasn't picking her nose or anything while waiting for the previews.
I need to watch it later with sound. I don't have my ear phones today. :ohwell:0 -
This was how I was proposed to: "So, do you want to get married or what?" No ring.

Um....does anyone know if he has a brother? Cousin maybe?0

FML.
Mine was, "Well, I made an appointment."
Me: "Appointment?"
Him: "To go to premarital counseling."
No ring, either. No actual "Will you marry me?"
p.s. -- he would have made a good pinata :laugh:0 -

Awwwwwww! That's precious. and super creative!! haha! What an awesome proposal0
-
super-showy. i mean, if they have that kind of relationship, great. but what about when the audience is gone? why does he feel the need to make such a show out of the whole thing?
i MUCH prefer the proposal i received. it was simple, honest, to the point, and fit in with the rest of the story of our lives. lol this poor girl (happy as she undoubtedly is) now has to try to put together a wedding that's as epic as the proposal.
no, thank you!0 -

We had already planned to get married, there was no real proposal, but when we found out I needed 3 root canals and his coverage would kick in immediately if we were married, the next morning, we went downtown (Reno FTW!!!) and got married. I spent more at PF Chang's for lunch afterwards than I did on the entire "wedding", including the license and ceremony! The only thing I purchased specifically for the wedding was a yard of tulle to put in my hair, to resemble a veil. We used rings and clothes that we already owned.
BUT it worked! I scored the most wonderful husband ever.
Now we are planning our "public" wedding, it will be March 17, 2013....we will have been married 7 years then and St. Patrick's day is special to us...:blushing:0
