Hello guys I am just really trying to get fit but it is very difficult! I workout harder than most of my friends and they seem to lose weighg more than I do. Or get more results. So now I'm trying to track my food! Hopefully it works!! Any tips on how to resist cravings or any healthy alternatives?

Hi there! I'm Jeffi and kinda new at eating right myself. I'm almost 40 and just not losing like I'm used to. I've noticed that when I eat right I actually start craving healthy food... Even for snacks! Just like starting a new habit... Your taste buds will change if you just keep w it for at least a week or two! Don't give up!0

Its ok to splurge every once and a while but if you want to stay away from giving into those cravings I always grab some vanilla greek yogurt, add some cocoa powder or chocolate chips and make that one of my snacks for the day. If Im feeling the need for sugar it usually helps to make a healthier alternative like this and log it in your diary BEFORE you plan on eating it that way you know youre saving space for your healthy treat. Also yogurt blended with fruit and frozen into popsicles works well!! When you have these healthier snacks on hand it makes it easier to resist going out and getting the junk food.0

you can't out exercise a bad diet. so tracking your food and knowing how much your eating is key to weightloss. stop comparing every body is different.
to tame down cravings i try not to deprive myself, i incorporate the foods i like and make them at home so they are healthier. if I'm eating things i like cravings seem to stay at bay and I'm not fighting them.
i make my own pizza at home, buy flat bread, pizza sauce and cheese, u can add your own toppings that you like.
i make buffalo chicken sandwiches all the time. grilled chicken tossed in wing sauce will blue cheese.
i eat full fat ice cream, i portion out a serving. when you eat it often and its the real thing and you just allow yourself to have it, you'll find you won't need to go overboard when you do have it.0
