Start weight-lifting now. This will increase your metabolism and your daily calorie burn, which is really what you want more than anything.
Increase your protein and fiber intake at every meal. (protein: cottage cheese, greek yogurt, chicken, fish, eggs, beans, quinoa) (fiber: whole grains like Ezekiel bread, oatmeal, brown rice or pasta, quinoa; or veggies and fruit) Combine these at every meal
Get a fitbit or pedometer of some sort and walk at least10,000 steps every day
Take your weight and divide by 2. This is how much water in ounces you need to drink every day.
Sleep minimum of 7 hours a night.
Ultimately, don't stress. Stress increases fat in our bodies. Our bodies are only able to lose a max of 2 lbs a week. The only way to do this is by creating a calorie deficit of 3500 calories a week (for one pound loss) or 500 calories a day by activity and food intake (250 calories of activity and 250 calories less a day in food). Do research on your current daily calorie burn to find out what your burn is daily.0 -
For a 1200 calorie dinner, I would start with a medium pizza and 6 pack of beer. Snack on nuts as needed. Top it all off with a bowl of ice cream. Breakfast and lunch are harder. I'm just not that hungry earlier in the day.0

If i were trying to do 1200 calories I would start with breaking it down by calorie, meal and macro
Then just fill it in with foods I like, choosing foods that fill me up and satisfy my hunger. Adjust as desired.
Breakfast
400 calories of protein, fat and carbs
Lunch
400 calories of protein, fat and carbs
Dinner
400 calories of protein, fat and carbs0
