After 11 days of a healthy diet & exercise I only lost 2 pounds. I really expected to see at least 4 or 5.
I started to feel dissaponted & ready to give up!

My plan is to start working a lil bit harder, eat just a lil bit less but drink more protein shakes to control my hunger.
On Monday i will start working out :smooched: with the Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred in the morning for 20 mins. to burn fat after eating my protein bar (power crunch) as soon as a wake up :ohwell:
Eat a salad with some kind of lean protein  like grilled chicken, meat or tuna. with a fat free dressing
For snacks  2 fruits, 2 raw veggies, 1low fat string cheese & 1low fat yogurt
Protein Shakes :drinker: for pre-work out to control hunger & after work out to recover
To finish up my day I will do the Jillian Michaels: 6 Week Six-Pack to tone my body.
I will do this for 6 weeks starting this monday coming up.
You want to join me ??? Hopefully I get better results this way. I feel that when I have a plan things go more smooth & easier

Can boys play? If so, I'm in. I need to revamp my menu and stick to 30 Day Shred.

I'm all for adding exercise to your day, but according to this you're planning on living on a protein bar and a salad with a few teeny snacks thrown in. Good luck with that. If you were disappointed with 2 lbs in a week (which is quite healthy BTW - 4-5 lbs is very unrealistic), just wait until your body goes into starvation mode. You want a plateau? You just wrote a great plan for one! You've only been doing this 11 days... give it time! :flowerforyou:

Are you here to make a lifestyle change or to kill yourself for a few days until you give up because you're starving and have no energy?

Totally agree! 2lbs in 11 days is more than enough to start a healthy life.

Maybe you need a little more cardio. The couple of minutes of cardio here and there in JM videos probably isn't enough for you.

I agree with TS65. That is no way to go about it. You may lose some weight fairly quickly but as soon as you start eating real food again you will put it all back on. The only way to go is sensible eating with exercise with a slow but steady weight loss.

I was doing 50 minutes of kickboxing at nite.
The reason why I'm dissapointed is cuz I done it before & got better results lost 35 pounds in 3 months. but I stop everything for 2 years and only gained 10 pounds back.

I don't want to starve myself thats why I'm including good carbs, dairies, protein .

I do eat healthy its thats I need an emergency diet to give me just a lil better results for my 2nd honeymoon next month. I want to look good

I'm also in agreement.....Love the shake recipes and will def add them to my regimen....but I've been stalled for a month and I'm going to try to up my cals with the shakes for a bit and see what happens....esp since my workouts have ramped up quite a bit. IF your food program doesn't get you lasting results try increasing your cals and see what happens. Remember our bodies need time to adjust to changes - but at least 1200 cal is the min intake and that's w/o adding workout cals back in. Good luck new friend! :drinker:
