Last night I did Total Body Blast and Lower Body Jam. I'm not sure what I'll get in today...we'll see!0

I did CP. I wanted to get in Ab Jam but I think I will try some different toning exercises today.0

CP2 done. Praying for new dvds for christmas. Although these are still great workouts I'm getting tired of the same routines. I really wanted to get some toning in today but not enough time.0

I let out such a loud, "HA!" at the "babydoll" comment, my 2yo jumped. LOL "To the front, babydoll!" :laugh:
Lyn - I did FB while Zeke ate breakfast (at 5:30am) and the other 2 were asleep. Then, PK&J I got in during nap time. TS might not happen today, though. I think I've hit a "P WORD" and am trying to crank up the exercise for a week or so to see if that'll break it. Energy is a relative factor when you have 3 as young as mine. TJ makes me feel better so I have to remind myself that every day otherwise my energy level would trump me & I would never do it. :laugh:0 -
I'm having an attitude issue. You know when Chaleen says something positive like "Do you feel strong? You look strong!" I always replied "hell no, I feel like I'm dying" in my head. I need to focus on being positive. I know I'm getting stronger because I can get through the workouts now rather than dying halfway through. I am losing weight...not as quickly as I'd like to but I am. I'm struggling to be positive about my exercise and nutrition. I know I'm doing well because I stay in my calories and I get my cardio done but I need a better outlook on the whole situation. UGH! I do love TJ that's probably why I do it everyday and I'm not giving up.

I used to have that problem when I was doing Billy Blank's Tae Bo & Slim in Six. Chalene, however, has made me cry more than once. In the beginning I was so down about the whole weight thing & whenever I heard her say "I'm so proud of you" during the 20 min. workout, I would just start bawling & say, "I'm proud of me, too!" LOL This is actually the first time while breastfeeding that I've been able to lose weight. With Z & M, I had NO luck, maybe 7# loss each time. Very discouraging. I wanted to punch all the people that told me that "it is SO easy to lose weight while breastfeeding!" :grumble: I'm sorry you feel like that, Lyn. You're doing a GREAT thing for yourself & your family. *hugs*0

Thanks Sara. I really appreciate that. I too hate people that say its easy to lose while breastfeeding. If it was EASY I wouldn't be counting calories and busting my butt for 40 minutes a day! Honestly the breastfeeding is more important to me right now than the weight loss. I've managed to BF for 5 months now. My goal is one year and if I have to hold on to a little extra weight that is okay with me as long as my baby gets what is best for her. I'm almost at pre preg weight and I knew that my true journey would begin here. The baby weight is almost gone now it's time to battle the adult weight!0

Lyn - I made it 11.5 months with each of the boys. Zeke weaned himself & then Micah bit me one too many times. :grumble: But at that point with each of them, I was pregnant with the next baby. I'm hoping to make it that long with Tabitha, too (b/c there will be NO MORE BABIES! NONE! NEVER! :bigsmile: ) & I agree that bf'ing is more important. I went into the "journey" this time thinking, "well, if I at least *start* now, by the time I'm done bf'ing, I'll be in a routine & it'll be easier to start losing weight." Honestly, I'm just surprised the weight has come off like it has. Once again, TJ success story. LOL
correll - YES! I LOVE this workout! I have tried so many other things & all I do is watch the clock & wait for it to be over. Then, the next day I dread putting it back in to be bored to death. I really do enjoy Turbo Jam. One of the great features is that I think anybody CAN use it b/c you can modify all the moves. Can't do a traditional round house kick? Just kick low to the side! Work your way up to it. I am honestly a true believer in the Turbo Jam workouts.

Lyn---I have a hard time sometimes. When things are getting tough and she says things like "you're doing great." I think..."maybe you guys are doing great, but I'm a mess right now." However, I then think "Ok, so you're doing a higher intensity than you used to...the workout is supposed to be hard...otherwise it's probably not doing anything!" So, try and keep your chin up. Just remember that you ARE getting stronger and (this is what I think) I do look better doing it than I did when I first started ( :laugh: )
I don't have any kids, so I'm going to take your words on the bfeeding. I'll remember that all those people who say it's easy are just lying!
Correll--I LOVE these workouts. I've tried several other videos and have stopped doing them within the first week or so because the person on it isn't inspiring and the workouts bore me. I love to dance around and you get that in these videos. You work hard, but it's really fun while you're doing it!
Last night I did the 20 minute workout and Ab Jam. I hadn't done Ab Jam in awhile until recently and man does it work! I'm a little nervous because I'm going back to my parents house for Christmas and the only TV and DVD player are in the living room. I tried running the DVDs on my laptop last time, but it didn't work. Last time I went home it was just me and my mom so it was fine for me to exercise in the living room (she didn't care), but my dad and sisters will be there this time....Any suggestions?0 -
correll-I totally agree with 3bb. Turbo Jam is a fun total body workout (wow I sound like the infomercial). The first time I gave Turbo Jam a try I lost 20 lbs in 2 months. 3 years later when I decided to get my act together I again lost 20 lbs in 2 months. I workout 5-6 times a week and I've been doing the same 2 workouts for 4 months. It never gets boring. I've gone from doing the low impact modifications to working in some of the high impact stuff. I love Turbo Jam. I can't wait for my body to look like the girls on the dvds!
Sara-I bf'd with Dre but it was so painful that after 2 months I gave up...crying. Adi has been much more cooperativeBefore I found out I was preg with Adi I wanted to lose weight and get down to a healthier weight so that should I get pregnant I wouldn't have to worry about any high risk situations. I was going to start after the holidays....I found out I was preg just before Halloween :laugh: But you are right at least I'm starting good habits now and hopefully when I hit my goal in April...I can say I did it all by myself....bfing had nothing to do with it
And I do want one more babe but not for a couple years!

Could you wake up earlier than them to squeeze it in in the morning? The FB dvd works on my laptop, but I haven't tried any of the other ones. Hhhmmm...let me think if I have any other suggestions. I would tell you to tell them to suck it up & if they don't like it, they are more than welcome to jump in & do it with you, too. That's what I tell my husband. :bigsmile:0

abs-I took my dvds with me last time I went home for Thanksgiving but there were just too many people in the house to get it done. My only suggestion would be to get up early enough that you can get it done without being in the way or bothering anyone. Maybe just do the 20 minute?? My plan this time for going home...ENJOY CHRISTMAS. I'm not working out and not counting calories. I would just stress myself out if I tried. It also helps that we aren't going home until the Friday AFTER christmas, so I can get my regular workouts in and take the weekend off like normal. Maybe you could just go for a walk or something instead. Hey something is better than nothing right?0

Got CP and ALL of Ab Jam done today. In an effort to repair my bad attitude every time Chaleen said something about being strong or getting my second wind or whatever I said (outloud) YES. Yes I feel strong. Yes I caught my second wind. YES I feel great. YES YES YES...even though I felt stupid about it maybe if I keep saying it eventually I will believe it.0

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to try and get my player working before I go. I think it might be the player that I have and there are some that I can get for free so...let's hope that works. I can try and get up before everyone, but my parents bedroom is right next to the living room and my dad wakes up at 6 (he wouldn't bother me though). I just found out that my sisters and their guys aren't coming until Wednesday (I'm leaving to go back on Saturday), so I'll have a few days at least where I can get the workouts in. So, we'll see.
I did CP1 and Ab Jam last night. It was a real workout. I wasn't sure if I would have time tonight (when I normally get my workout in) so I got up this morning and did Fat Blaster. I feel strong and tired today!0 -
CP2 and lower body today....my legs are going to be SO sore tomorrow.0

I did CP2 this morning since I won't have time tonight. I'm not as good in the morning since I only did one video and I really wanted to get in Ab Jam, but time didn't permit. I'll be traveling tomorrow and then in and out sporadically after that. Keep up the good work (oh and my boyfriend did something to my computer, so it'll play my videos now...I'm SOOOO excited!)0

YAY, abs! Now you don't need to worry about compromising the family tv!
I got 26 min. of PK&J in yesterday & then FB in at 11:15pm last night. I don't know what I was thinking...besides the fact that I ate waaaaaay too many cookies yesterday & my dh was still up anyways.
Today I'm hoping to get in PK&J & hopefully TS. We're iced in, but I might need to run a few places...long story.

I FINALLY got in ALL of TS! I decided to do that first since I'm in a *whispers: plateau* & wanted to shake things up a bit. Now, off to do some aerobics. Can't believe ALL my kids are still napping! YAY!0

I use the judo, karate, kick boxing option. I don't know how close it is but I will find out soon. I get my HRM for xmas
Good job Sara. I love when my DD sleeps her 2 hours in the morning I get SO much done.
