Hi everyone! I'm new here and not feeling too good about my body. I'm 197 lbs. and it's all in the belly. I look forward to meeting everyone and making the most of this site. I'll gladly take any suggestions as I've never had to diet before and don't know where to start!

    For your diet, It's really as simple as eating healthy foods while watching your Calorie intake making sure you have a deficit.

    If your brand-new to exercising and have no idea where to start, you may want to consider a personal trainer just to teach her how to get started

    A diet is temporary, I would focus on lifestyle change. It doesn't have to be all at once but it will take constant steady work. Eat better foods, manage calories (not starve) and exercise. You will feel and look great!

    I agree, I'm trying to make lifestyle changes also. I weigh about the same, but for a 5'10" female, that is 25 lbs over the max ideal weight. I used to love jumping out of bed at 5 am and getting to the gym, just can't do it when sleep deprived. Starting to exercise again, clean eating, etc. Hope it works!
