from being in a relationship.....

whether your in one or not, there are the things you miss... what are they?

Someone coming up behind you for a hug while your cooking, a kiss on the neck or being picked up and carried to bed or just sitting on the couch together, arms and legs entwined cuddled up watching tv for example.

Always having someone ready to do stuff with. Trying to get together with friends is such a scheduling/traveling ordeal at 30! Lol.

Nothing, lol...I'd rather be single. Have been for almost 12 years, and I like it that way. :)

Taking vacations with a built-in partner. My friends never seem to follow through with vacation plans either due to scheduling or lack of funds.

When I read that question, I couldn't think of one thing that I absolutely miss. It surprised me, actually.

My perspective is probably a little different - I've been married for 18 years this Sunday- got married the year after high school. 4 years ago my husband had a massive stroke resulting in partial paralysis. I miss hugs, and being held, and walking on the beach with him (I go to the beach all the time, but he can't as he can't walk on the sand)... stuff like that. I miss just... DOING things with him.

(sorry, i know i was a downer on this one!)

My husband passed away last year. I understand your perspective.

Endearing pet names like 'ball hair' and 'dumba**' because we genuinely care about each other's feelings and don't take life too seriously.
