Have the reasons for you wanting to lose weight changed? Are these factors more impornat than short term eating?
Take it one day at a time. If you wnat to create calories try doing some exercise, although it takes a lot. Prelog your food as well as having alternatives so you cna avoid eating the food at hand.

Just keep in mind that the less fast food you eat the easier it is to lose weight. I starting dropping a few pounds by not eating out and not drinking pop. You can do it.

It's not that I have a problem ordering meals from work, I just have trouble not munching on it as its being prepared. For example, we cook bacon every morning before anything else and it just makes the whole restaurant smell so good! lol its so hard not to grab a piece..

Unfortunately your motivation must come from you.... It cant be poured in you like water in a tea pot. Reach deep down and see why you decided to do this... Visualize and reinforce your goals...

Sometimes I use math to help with motivation.

For example, and I'm not picking on you @spk1982 (not at all) but can we use your fondness for sweet tea as an example? It's similar to my own past... I cut out sugar from my coffee cold turkey thanks to doing an exercise very similar to the following:

8 tsp of sugar is a large chunk of anyone's daily carb intake and it's just... sugar, leaving that much less room for other foods. 120cals at ~33.6 grams a day = 46,720 calories and 12.26 kilograms of sugar annually. That's 27 pounds of sugar for the metrically challenged. I might have been consuming even more myself, at one point in my life. Wow!

Can't cut cold turkey? Drop it to 2 teaspoons per cup - that has cut back your 27 pounds of sugar to 13.5 pounds annually. Or scale back 1/2 teaspoon per cup per week until 1/2 or 1/4 the original amount.

Dropping 47,000 calories annually is something that motivates me, but of course we are all different. What would work for you?

Can you suck something spicy while you're preparing the food until you can get your own lunch or snack?

Like some pepper flakes or bits of pepper or even cardamen seeds (I know those aren't spicy but they're crunchy).
