Weighing Canned Veggies?

Hello everyone.
I have been on my weight loss journey for 5 years and I recently just starting weighing my food by the gram.
I have noticed that my canned veggies, for instance, green beans I had tonight – weight less than the can says per serving for the whole can.

For instance there are 3.5 servings in my can of green beans. Each serving weighs 120g.
When I weighed the beans by gram I got 240g. That is only 2 servings, not 3.5.
How do I log this? It happens with all canned veggies.
That being said, I do DRAIN the beans and cook them in water to get out excess sodium.

Switch to frozen. They taste better and have less additives.

I usually just take the 240 & divide by 120 to get the correct serving size to use.

I know it's better but I currently have canned so that's what I'm using.

I liked canned over frozen personally except fresh which is best. Since you drain just divide what a serving size is to what you get. I also drain all my canned veggies.

The total on the can is including the liquid the vegetables are in. So if the can says, for example, 300 g, and you weigh the drained veggies and get a weight of 200g then it follows that the other 100 was the liquid.

Personally I just call half a can half the labelled weight without weighing it - most canned veggies are not high calorie so a small amount of inaccuracy will not derail you.
