Macros/Micros?? I'm Confused. I need help!

Hi there. I am fairly new to MFP and am just wondering for a female, with a goal of losing 100 pounds how much protein, calories, sugar, fat and carbs should one be consuming? What worked for you ?? Also how often are you weighing yourself? Thanks for any helpful advice!

    I am currently trying to hit the preset micros and macro for the amount of calories that are the goal. I mostly track calories and fiber. I do pay attention to carbs, fat and protein and try to get them in line. I am still working on it.

    I do weigh daily only because it helps underline the fact that 1 to 2 pound swings are normal. The trend is downward. When I weigh once a week, the 1 pound gains freak me out. However, I record on MFP once a week.

    And it is helpful to find some kind of activity that is fun. Walking is easiest to fit in.

    I think finding a group also makes this a bit more fun.

    Slow and consistent weight loss is my goal. It is hard to be patient when I feel I stalling out. I tend to lose in fits and starts. ie same weight for a couple of weeks and then a big drop.

    Be patient with yourself.
