I currently work a swing shift from 3:30 pm to midnight. I can't eat dinner until about 9 pm and I am having a hard time finding snacks thay are low in calories yet filling to keep me from starving until dinner. Please note that I do not like fruit (its a texture thing) and I won't eat it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

    hummus and baked pita chips
turkey pepperoni stix with string cheese
    hard boiled eggs with crackers
oatmeal with brown sugar (splenda version that is!)
veggies and low cal ranch dip
cup of chicken breast cut up with lemon and pepper. Good protein and you can snack on it with little fat. They sell them pre packaged in serving cups in the deli section
slices of low fat ham wrapped around pretzel sticks.

I am a snack maniac when it comes to work.

Depends on whether you are constantly moving or if you have a chance to sit and eat. I usually have almonds (15), or I have greek yogurt with berries and protein powder which is really filling, you could do carrots or celery (not sure if veggies are included in your fruit texture thing). I will sometimes have a protein bar, hard boiled egg um there's more but like I said it really depends on what type of job your doing and how much time you have.

what about smoothies? they usually have fruit in them, but its blended up with yogurt, and not nearly as fruit like (and easy if you're on the go!) string cheese and a hardboiled egg is one of my favorite snacks - and very filling too! also, sometimes i will make a "mini pizza" with an english muffin, some pizza sauce, and a piece of provolone. That might be more of a sit down snack though :)
