How to delete an entry on diary ?

hi guys im wondering whether can anyone advise me how i delete an entry that i did on my diary.accidentally i entered the same exercise twice and seems that i can not delete it.thanks for your help

The delete button should be to the right of the item you're trying to delete.

On my android phone I just long press the item I want to delete and the option to delete or move entry pops up.
