Last year, I went to the doctor for chest pains. I was only nineteen at the time. At the doctor's office, they took my weight and I was 205 lbs, which is about 40 lbs overweight for my height. I was mortified. Besides my chest pains, (which thankfully, was accredited to chest inflamation and not a heart problem) my doctor informed me that, for my height, I was considered obese. I began really considering my health and wellness, and trying to change bad habits that were destroying my body (cigarettes, soda, cheeseburgers lol) Since then I have managed to lose fifteen pounds but I still have 25 to go! I joined MFP because I know it is so much easier to lose weight when you have support and inspiration! Whaddup ya'll? :)
