Getting back into swing of things. Lots of old injury challenges. Woking out on lifefitness machines. Looking to compare notes, exercise ideas. I'm at the bottom of the pack with nowhere to go but up!

Welcome back! I'm with you on the lots of old injury challenge, I just keep reminding myself that any activity counts. I've been doing a lot of yoga, walking and spin bike lately and this past week added in an elliptical jog and a short swim at the pool.

I take stock of how my various parts feel, then pick an appropriate workout so as to not aggrivate anything. Some days just turn into stretching and mobility exercises.

As you said "nowhere to go but up!"

I understand you frustration. My own years of physical abuse have taken a toll on me, bad knees strained back, sciatica (this sucks) etc. I made a big change in the way I look at fitness. A friend recommended that I start doing yoga. I laughed. I'm not laughing now. After 2 years of yoga, I can run a 5K again without pain and bike again. It really changed my world and how I look at life and health.
