I'm new here, looking to lose my belly that I gained from some medication I was taking a while back. I'm finding it hard to shift my weight, probably because I eat so much junk food! I'm hoping to find some motivation and tips here.

I find the food and exercise diary really helpful. Try a week of complete honest with the diary and you will see where you can make the biggest changes. Exercise helps give you a little room to have the odd treat but weight loss is about 80% what goes in your body and 20% how much you move.

Log everything accurately. I checked your diary. I hope you are not skipping lunch on many days. You have to eat about 1500 calories every day, and keep your weight loss steady at 0.5-1 lb per week. Good luck!

My advice for people starting out is to weigh all their food. Almost everyone tends to overestimate what a serving size is and even prepackaged food tends to weigh more than what the package says. In order to really know how many calories you are consuming you'll need to weigh it...I found my scale really cheap on Amazon.
    Good luck!
