I just had my third baby girl and my hips are out of control! I'm having a hard time getting cardio in but have been doing occasional squats and lunges when I can. Does anyone know any other exercises I should try? Thanks!

    Burn first, clean up later.

If you have a bunch of baby fat it doesn't matter *how* hard you train those hips. You may build muscle, but it will be hidden under the fat. That said, if your knees can handle it, lunges and stairs all the way.

Hip adduction! Most gyms have this machine as well as the hip abduction. The adduction machine works your outer hips. Combine that with the best cardio you can get, running/jogging, you should definitely see some results.

running / walking / step ups. I do the wii fit step ups (low-step) for long periods of time, and I have lost about 6 inches off my hips.

I just started Kim Kardashians "fit in your jeans by friday" Butt Busting Work out... It is a serious lower body work out. Lots of lunges and other exercises to tone and strenghten your hips thighs butt and calves.

I knwo what you are saying "kim kardashian?!?!"

she works along with a trainer, and so it isn't Kim teaching the exercises, she just does them along with you,.

THe video is about 9 dollars on walmart.com

I think the hip adduction might be hard to do without going to a gym. The only reason is that you're moving the weight away from your midline. If you get a resistance cord, that would probably work. If you're going to do it that way, I would recommend getting ankle weights.

If you sit on the edge of a bench, and lift your feet off the floor. so you are holding your legs off the floor keeping your knees bent at a ninety degree angle, and then move them out and in, you will get about the same work out. you can add ankle weights too.

for the opposite pushing them together. get a beach ball, NOT the blow up ones, but the ones they sell in teh big bins at walmart. Put it between your legs and squeeze them together and hold. then release, and do over and over again. keep your feet off the ground tho

    Useless isolation exercise.

Listen to the people who told you to do cardio and stick with major compound moves like squats and lunges which use major muscle groups as well as core stabilisers rather than isolating single muscles.
