It is the most ridiculous thing. The military folks do not eat like that trust me. All you will loose (if any is water). Just log food and work out.0

It's a fad diet. You basically starve yourself for 3 days. It's not healthy nor sustainable.
Also, it has nothing to do with the military.

Every thread you click has people saying not to do it for the reasons I mentioned above. Save your sanity, set MFP to your desired weight loss goal, eat what it tells you, exercise (if you can and want to), and learn how to lose and keep it off.0 -

Ha! I JUST was trying to dissuade a friend on FB who has started it! Nobody wants to listen to the girl who has lost almost 50 lbs. What does SHE know?? Actually, they all ask me, but seem to zone out when I explain that there's no trick. Just to eat a little less. Oh well, I tried it almost 20 years ago, and gained back more than I lost. So from now on I'll just let them learn for themselves.0

Did it once upon a time... didn't lose all 10 lbs (I think 5,6 lbs)... but 4th day, eating normal... and it all came back. And I was starving those 3 days. I suggest that you just begin with eating at a calorie deficit, eating the daily calories that MFP has given you. Give it a chance and you will see that this works without having to do any fad diets. :flowerforyou:0

Just eat at a reasonable deficit and you'll lose weight.0

Hot dogs and saltines - zero nutrition. It sounds like a diet a toddler made up. Complete nonsense.0
