How accurate is

MFP when it comes to counting burned calories from activity?
I have also an app called Pacer and shows like 200 calories less from MFP . I have an iPhone no bracelet tracker so I was curious which one should I take into account? MFP or the Pacer that shows less ?

MFP is notorious for overestimating calories burnt. Most people eat back 50-80% of the calories MFP gives them for exercise to make up for this. Go with Pacer.

Thank you . I imagined it overestimated seeing how it showed I burned 890 calories for 15km walking yesterday . I'll go w pacer

Definitely pacer. I wear a fitbit, and looking at the calories I burn doing certain exercises on that compared to what MFP reckon I've burned....well, it can be bit ridiculous sometimes!

What speed were you walking the 15km at? Mfp (from what I've read) overestimates

They are all estimates and since everyone is different, it could be accurate for one person but not another.

Around 5km per hour... For the same distance pacer showed me 670 calories burned

I don't go by MFP either. I use a HRM, it is based off my age, height, and weight. Seems much more accurate.
