Kitchen scale suggestions?

Hey!
So, I've started noticing that my kitchen scale may not be all that accurate. I weighed a piece of ham, removed it, put a cup on my scale, pressed tare and put the ham on again and suddenly the ham was 13g instead of 15g. I tried the same thing with an egg and depending on what other stuff I had on the scale alongside it, it weighed anything from 52-56 grams. Tried it with some more stuff and apparently, the more other things on the scale together with my item, the less my item weighs.. Good job, scale.
Also, sometimes, when I put (for instance) a piece of bread on it that is 35 gram or so, and I walk away for a little and come back, and notice that it added a couple of grams, and keeps adding grams slowly as I wait. Wtf?
Also, it doesn't weigh the first ~1-3 grams properly I feel, so whenever I want to weigh something less than 10 grams or so, I usually put something on the scale first, and then just add my ingredient on top of that since that way seems more accurate.

Maybe most scales have their inaccuracies and problems, idk, this is only the second one I've owned. However, with all the things mentioned above, I feel it's really time to buy a new and better scale. (This one was super budget.)

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good kitchen scale? What scale do you have, does it seem accurate?

Is this a digital scale? If so, check the batteries.

I really like the Ozeri Pronto scale. It's on Amazon for around $14. I bought my first one five years ago and I've bought two more since (one to keep at work, and a new one for home because I stepped on the first one I bought).

I changed my batteries like last week so I doubt that's it :/

    Thanks, I'll look it up!

After my first one died, I went a little upscale with this: EatSmart Precision Elite Digital Kitchen Scale. I like the easy display. I can put a big plate on it and see the numbers.

Not seeing the numbers because you have a plate on the scale can be super annoying. Thanks for the suggestion, will check it out!

I had the issues of a big plate and not seeing the numbers. Almost a deal breaker. My sister suggested putting a bowl on the scale and then the plate. Works awesome!
