hurt my back at work

I been with this back injury since the 18th of this month so haven't gone to gym lately so many temptations here at home I hope I don't lose it and go back to my old ways and bad habits I been eating not so clean last 3 days but weighing in da same 285 I just don't want to get too comfortable with it to the point where I stop dieting (happened to me my last attempt at losing weight) but then again I wasn't as motivated before as I am right now so far I've gone from peak weight of 374 to between 275 and 285 in about 9.5 months

The most important factor of weight loss is diet and caloric deficit. Heal and do what you can when you can or you will end up really hurt.0

I have chronic back pain every single day. As a matter of fact there are just certain exercises I need to do and can't and I look for different ways to them - pain free. It is my c4.. I use a sim device from time to time and can make the world so much better.
Heating pads and massage are great..
I feel your pain, but be steadfast in getting better and do not stop with the diet. You can still lose weight as weight loss occurs in the kitchen. When you get better you can slowly move back into fitness.0 -
Patience and rest. Have you seen a dr or a physio? just tighten up your logging and weigh your food to maintain your deficit.0

Yeah I saw a doctor he prescribed some pills and diagnosed me with a strained siatic and tumbar or something like that lol but he told me to rest and to take time off from gym until I get better0

So follow his advice and you cna ask when abouts you may resume exercise. i have no idea how long such a recovery would take. When you are injured its a priority you get well first becayse your back and health is more importnat than a diet. the consequences of making an injury worse could be disastrous, hence you get better and only start exercising again when your dr says its ok. You cna still lose without exercise, so put some of your effort and boredom in that direction.0

Hi! I started a group called "Chronically Ill and Working Hard!". You are welcome to join! A lot of people can identify with being injured or sick and trying to maintain or lose weight. My husband has a broken vertebrae and is completely mobile but still in pain all the time. He used watching calories and a lot of simple walking to get in shape about a year after he was injured. He had gained 50 lbs from being in pain and initially immobile. He worked hard for a year just doing walking and watching his calories (nothing extreme) and is now four pants sizes smaller and lost to a weight he has NEVER been before! I have an immune condition and I can exercise too much or it makes me sicker. But have to exercise to keep reasonably conditioned and not a blob! Lol. Hi. I fell 3 years ago and have been in chronic pain since in my back and leg. Doctors can't do much and physiotherapy was too painful. They suggested self management and to use my good days wisely exercising gently. Its not expected that I will recover and will always be limited in my mobility. Ive put on 10 kgs while unwell but now I'm feeling better I'm ready to focus on loosing weight too. I'm watching my calories now but my limited exercise doesn't seem to budge my weight. Any recommendations?0
