Just starting

I weigh 249 and I have been at this for 10 days now. It is hard to stay on my diet. I need to loose 80 pounds. My heaviest was 267. I have been over weight for more than 10 years now. I get worn out so quickly now. I can't believe I let myself get so out of shape.

    Welcome! MFP will help you on your journey. I have used it before and lost 30lbs. I am back to lose it again and more and be healthier.

    I started at 265. On February 8th of this year I decided enough was enough. I started on this site that day. I had used MFP before with some success, but didn't stick with it. The tracking works though, and I knew that going into it. I now weigh 225. I have a ways to go, and right now I am stuck on a plateau, but I know I will get through it. I feel so much better!
