Lacking motivation...try a dressing room!

Hi All!

So I have been struggling the last week or so. My weight loss has stalled and I think my inches and fat loss too. I decided to take the week off working off because I was getting definite signals my body needed it. Which makes eating a little harder too. Basically, I'm a little down and thinking about all the hard work I still have to go...

Yesterday, I went shopping for a dress to wear on Friday. Bad news: I had tons of trouble finding the dress I was looking for (a bright, flirty dress in mid spring...easy, right?). I had to go to literally 5 stores. Good news: All the mediums and size 8 clothes I tried were too big. I had to try on size 6 skinny jeans, dresses, etc. and smalls and even one extra small!

Now, I am definitely not an extra small but knowing that these were sizes I would not have work before I started made me happy, even if they are vanity. Plus, I ended up with an adorable size small dress :)

Moral of the story: when you are down, look to hard work you have done and all the progress you've made and be happy (even if you're not satisfied!)

Congrats on the smaller sizes! and very true on focusing on what you HAVE accomplished. It can be hard to get your mind past the "end goal".
