Hello,
I am looking for support from young and old who is helping a sick family member or friend. It is a tough job and I have lost myself along the journey. Gained 30 lbs. Need to take of myself to be there for others. Anyone in a similar situation?

I've become a full time carer for my mum since she broke her leg. It's been about a month and I've already gained 3kg/6.6lbs and she still can't walk for another month0

I had the responsibility of taking care of my dad for a few years. Caregiving can become very draining emotionally and I would turn to food for comfort. I eventually started going to the gym for myself a few times a week. I found it helpful to do something for myself too. I was in a better mood because of the exercise. You can't give what you don't have.0
