Was curious if anyone else was going to be partaking in the PCRM vegan kick start starting tomorrow. To swap recipes and be a support system when I get a craving for foods. :)

And if anyone has done it in the past, how did it work for you?

I have never done the PCRM plan (I just looked at it and it looks like it is lower fat than I like to eat and restricts a lot of things that I don't think are harmful as part of a balanced diet), but I've been vegan for about nine years. Good luck!

As a 20 year or so Vegan I think these sort of diets are more likely to put people off a vegan diet because you suddenly restrict so many things. Also this idea that that you will suddenly become healthy or lose weight by eating a Vegan diet I totally disagree with. I was a 333 pound Vegan I'm now a 190 pound Vegan. I also agree with Jane that this plan seems to overly restrict foods I see no real issue with in moderation.

I applaud anyone looking into and eating a Vegan diet but I worry that things like this just make it another short term 'Fad' diet rather than an ethical choice.

Good luck on your plan and I do hope it works for you
