Internal interviews at work for a position I really wanted

First question in the interview: Why did you apply for ths job?

My response without hardly thinking .... "I need a new challenge. 8 years ago I bought my property with a 25 year mortgage, I set myself a target to get rid of it in 10. In January this year, 8 years on I paid off my mortgage. I set myself a new target to lose 2 stone. I have 5lbs left to shift. I need a new focus. I'd like it to be this position."
