Looking for feedback from anyone who's tried both programs. Which is the better bang for your buck and fun enough to keep you interested in finishing the whole program?

Both programs are great, but if you're looking for tons of fun then Turbo Fire is the way to go!0

depends on what you're looking for. They aren't really comparable. P90x is more strength training whereas TF is cardio conditioning. You're better off to compare TF with INSANITY. TF is definitely the more upbeat & fun cardio conditioning whereas INSANITY is more to the point and drill-like.0

As others said, it depends what you want - cardio conditioning or strength training. Turbo Fire is REALLY fun - great music. Once you get the choreography, it becomes even more fun! I am finishing up two months of it in a couple of weeks and starting P90X. I used Turbo Fire as a cardio break between strength training (finish ChaLean Extreme before Turbo Fire). It ultimately depends on what your goal is. You'll get something out of both programs, I am sure!0

I would take strength over cardio knowing what I learned along the way.
That said, I really enjoy Turbojam, but I am not liking Turbo fire. I'm doing p90 now instead (not p90x I'm not there yet) :laugh:0 -
Thanks everyone. I'm still looking to dropping some weight so I guess I'll go with Turbo Fire first, then move on to strength training when I get closer to my goal.0

I have only seen a preview of Turbo Fire, but you might like Insanity. It is massive cardio, but also a ton of body weight strength training (squats, lunges, moving push-ups, V push-ups....). No, you won't build loads of muscle like weights would do, but you will shred what you have (and put on a little more). I'm not massive, but after 6 weeks people are telling me I look like I've been lifting because there is so much more cut definition in my arms shoulders and chest. I did actually start adding a weight routine in this week and find myself lifting quite a bit more than I have in a very long time.
Anyway, though, I think either way you choose you will see great results. My fiance just ordered ChaLean, and can't wait to get started. It's strength and cardio, but different than P90X.0 -
Hey hey. Here;s my 2 cents. Well, I bought P90x first and got through 2 weeks of it. I DEF saw results, but it got boring, and an hour a day was getting redundant. So, i bought Turbofire, figuring that I would probably lose faith in that too, but hell, I was gonna try it. That wasnt the case. I LOVE TurboFire. Seriously, it is so fun, you get to dance and shake your booty. Plus, it really gives results. I am in my 5th week of TurboFire and I have lost 10 pounds so far. I even missing probably 6 workouts and ate really crappy 5 days. Also, I am not following their nutrition plan but I eat healthy. I literally eat at least a bag of the frozen steamfresh veggies every day. yummm. haha. Anyways, if you want my advice....I will tell you that back in the day at my heaviest I was 230 pounds. Now I am 148....needless to say, I KNOW how to lose weight. Everyone is different, but if you are looking to not get bored after 3 weeks and lose some fat, then Turbo is the way to go! I plan on doing P90x after Turbo....maybe even another round of Turbo first. I am soooooooooo excited to see my results after 8 weeks of TurboFire...if you want, check out my youtube page and see a video I made of some before and after Day 1-Day 30. Hope this helps!
