I'm on day 18 and haven't worked out today because I am so tired and didn't know if that would set me up to fail0

You have to give your body time to heal.0

I thought it was only if you were doing weights. And I haven't made it to that point yet. Just lots of cardio0

Running is hard on your joints and muscles. If you feel like you have to do something, go on a walk.0

Yea I don't run lol... I walk fast and do Zumba ha ha0

I walk at least 10 miles 7 days a week. I wasn't sure if I need a rest day from walking? ?0

You need rest or you will burn out. Your body uses rest to actually do what we typically talk of exercise as doing -- it's when/how you actually get stronger, build your endurance and stamina, etc. It doesn't matter whether it is running or weights or zumba, exercise is stress, the body responds by adapting so it can meet your demands better next time.
For now, you should probably rest, because you probably overdid it if you're that tired. In future, your regular rest day could be active if you prefer -- but just go light. Like a walk at a comfortable pace, or some nice stretches, gentle yoga, leisurely swimming, that sort of thing.0 -
You don't have to rest from walking but I am assuming you aren't power walking every day either.
How long does it take you to walk 10 miles? Do you have a job that requires walking? I've always wished I had an active job so that I could get in more exercise at work.0 -

No I don't do it all once. I do 1200 steps at a time scattered throughout the day. Usually 100 steps per minute, or more if I'm not walking with my phone while reading the mfp forums
