I have always been overweight on the border of obese - unless you ask the wii fit which says i am obese on the border of overweight. I am hoping to be in "good" shape by the time i reach 30 in November. Any groups on here that share similar goals, or that have effective/fun motivational methods - let me know and i'll sign on.

My weight is playing yo-yo with me. I am on a rollercoaster. I am very active, spinning 2x a week (50 min ea time), I do kickbox & core also 2x a week (45 min) and yoga & pilates 3x a week. There's nothing physically wrong but that weight is stuck on me like glue. I need to get rid of 30 lbs  (but 40 would be so wonderful). Sorry for venting, My name is Marge and I am new to this board.0

Sometimes backing off or going over on calories will "shock your body and get your metabolism started up again. Try changing something. When your body gets used to doing the same thng over and over sometimes you plateau. I have noticed that when I plateau I am usually losing inches.
Sometimes a big change for a day or 2 is good to shock things into working the way you want it to again.0 -

I joined today and I am hoping that this along with doing the Power 90 workouts I will begin to make progress. My goal is to lose 40lbs. I have been exercising twice a week, 4 classes altogether, 2 zumba & 2 piyo but the scales never change, although I did lose a few inches when I began PiYo but that has stopped as well. It's very discouraging but I am determined to make something happen!!0
