SILLY ? BUT DO HRM ONLY TRACK CALORIES BURNED WHEN WALKING/RUNNING? I WOULD LIKE SOMETHING TO MONITOR CALORIES BURNED DURING EXERCISES WHEN DOING MORE THEN 1 REPETITIVE THING. LIKE ZUMBA SEVERAL DIFFERENT MOVEMENTS BUT I WANT TO KNOW OVERALL HOW MANY CALORIES IVE BURNED ANY ADVICE? THANKS

    Yes, it tracks your heart rate at any speed & calories burned. Saturday I went to a Cardio Kick class with repetive motions, punching, kicking, etc ... and it tracked my HR the whole time & said I burned almost 600 calories! Very good investment.

    THANKS MAMA WHERE DID YOU GET YOURS? I BOUGHT ONE AT WAL-MART IT WAS ONLY 40 BUX BUT IT WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE ONE ON THE WALL SO I FIGURED IT HAD TO BE THE BEST-- I THOUGHT IT WOULD TRACK CALORIES FROM ALL ACTIVITIES BUT IT SEEMED TO ONLY TRACK CALORIES BASED ON STEPS TAKEN AND THAT WAS ALL OUT OF WACK TOO AFTER READING REVIEWS ON IT I TOOK IT BACK AND DECIDED I NEED TO INVEST IN A BETTER ONE ( I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WHERE SO MANY ON THE MARKET EITHER)

    I got mine for Walmart too for only about $40. I will look tonight when I get home and let you know what kind.

    Mine seems to be pretty accurate. I dont know about Zumba or aerobics ... but its about 100 more calories than what the treadmill/elipitcal will say. Which is about right b/c the treadsmills are usually set for 150lb person....

    I bought a cheap one on ebay and it was crap! However I invested in a Polar FT4, it was about £55. It is brilliant! Love it! Polar are the ones that are recommended on here alot I have noticed and now I have one I know why! HTH
