It's a fad diet and it won't last long. If you do manage to lose any real fat, you will more than likely gain it back shortly after.

The weightloss from the diet comes mostly from water weight. When you restrict carbs so much, you lose a ton of water weight sometimes up to 20 pounds depending how big you are. As soon as you incorporate more carbs into your diet again, you will gain it all back.

Basically, if you can do this diet for 17 days that is long enough to make it a habit =)

Its high protein and very low carb. I know some people who have had good results but they all had more than 20 lbs to lose.

Its 17 days of 4 levels. the fisrt 17 days no carbs just protein and fruits and veggies. and green tea.. which is suppose to cleanse the body. eventually in the next levels you bring good healthy carbs back to your diet. and it teaches you how to eat properly.
I can say that you really do feel fungry and fruis and veggies really seem to work for me.
I taked to someone who lost over 10 lbs in the first 17 days...

Hi Aross83! Today is my D3C1! (Day 3 of Cycle 1) I stumbled upon this plan and it sounded so good and healthy I had to give it a try! So far I am finding it pretty easy to manage during the day when I am at work. Evenings have been challenging as I seem to turn into a total grump and want to bury my face in a plate of pasta. lol But, I have stuck with it. So far so good. Would love to have a pal going through the same process as me - feel free to add me as a friend.

I have a total of 50 pounds I would like to lose and have lost 2 pounds of that since starting Cycle 1 earlier this week.
