How man grams of carbs and proteins do you eat?

MFP had my grams of protein at 49 and carbs at 179, what settings do you have yours at?

    I'm at 40/35/25 carbs/protein/fat

    So I have like 280 or so grams of carbs. and about 240 of protein. 70ish of fat
    I try to get at least 160 grams of protein per day, but normally I'm over the 200 mark.
    Carbs vary depending on if I"m running or playing soccer.
    And my fat varies a bit.
    But those are my goals and I try to stay fairly close to them. On the weekends I'm higher on carbs and fat because I eat what I want.

    Right about the same as you have. 49 to 50 grams of protein is the minimum requirement for an adult per day. And 179 grams of carbs is good too. There are a lot of different opinions out there on the amount of carbs to eat, but carbs = energy. And your brain can only use glucose as fuel so you to eat plenty of carbs for energy.

    I have mine set to 40/40/20 Carbs/Protein/Fat. So, I get 120g of carbs, 120g of protein, and 27g of fat. I'm currently consuming 1200 calories a day.

    45% carbs - 232g with no exercise
    30% protein - 155g with no exercise
    Based on 2000 cals a day.

    I like to hit the protein target or go over, usually find it hard to though especially when I've done exercise and it gets higher but I usually get close.
    I like the carb level I have, I usually stay under by about 20g. If I have too many it bloats me but I could never live without pasta etc and go low carb.

    With no exercise mine say:

    45 grams of protein (this seems low to me, i always thought it should be 60g)

    40 grams of fat

    165 CARBS

    24g of sugar (impossible for me to stay under, I adore fruit!

    14g of fiber (which I know is too low)

    The following are the percentages that I use:

    Carb 40%
    Protein 30%
    Fat 30 %

    The actual grams will depend on your calorie setting.

    I decided on those numbers after reading one of Jillian Micheals book and information about the Zone diet.

    Carbs 165 g
    Fat 40 g
    Protein 45 g


    For those who change their goals....how did you know what #'s to change it to?

    Carbs I'm supposed to get in 195 grams; protein 53 grams. I go over protein every day.

    I eat between 320-400gs of carbs and >200gs of protein 3k+ calories a day.
