Walking on incline treadmill

Try walking on incline 3-8 degrees for 20-30 min. At a speed you can breathe through your nose comfortably. The incline will incorporate the muscles behind you like the butt hamstring calves and back.

3-8 degrees is fine, but on leg day I prefer to walk at 15 degrees for 20 minutes. Get that heart pumping and sweat pouring!0

I agree. The track coach was advising me for jogging at 3-8. But walking would be good at higher inclines.0

I use a treadmill at home and I have no choice but to use it at a 5% incline as you can't adjust it. It's really frustrating sometimes and as I have big calves already due to the amount of walking I already do as I don't drive, I'm concerned that they're going to get even bigger now I've started running on it. Any running I do is at 5.0 mph or brisk walking is at 4.5 mph.0
